Parsons, KS – Â鶹ÊÓ´«Ã½ÔÚÏßÈë¿Ú (LCC) is pleased to announce the return of its semi-annual Cardinal Connect Business Showcase, taking place on Friday, April 15, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Breezeway at LCC’s Main Campus. This year’s event offers an excellent opportunity for local businesses and organizations to introduce their services, promote offerings, and connect with potential future employees.
Cardinal Connect remains a signature event designed to foster meaningful relationships between LCC students and area businesses. The goal is to provide students with greater insight into the diverse professional landscape in the Parsons area while exploring future career opportunities.
This spring’s showcase will feature more than 20 local businesses, including returning partners such as Â鶹ÊÓ´«Ã½ÔÚÏßÈë¿Ú Health, Commercial Bank, and the Parsons Police Department, along with a new participant: Â鶹ÊÓ´«Ã½ÔÚÏßÈë¿Ú Health EMS. Each organization will engage with students, share information about their services, and discuss potential career pathways.
As part of the tradition, students who participate in five meaningful conversations with different businesses will receive a free meal voucher for the Cardinal Café and will be entered into a drawing for a VISA gift card. The event not only supports student development and career readiness, but also contributes to the region’s economic vitality by strengthening partnerships between LCC and the local business community.
“We’re proud to continue this event,” said Elizabeth Kitterman, Admissions Assistant at LCC and event coordinator. “Cardinal Connect provides a unique opportunity for local businesses and students to connect—offering resources, free items, and the chance to build relationships that could lead to future opportunities and personal growth.”
The Cardinal Connect Business Showcase is open to all current LCC students. The event is free to attend, and students are encouraged to arrive prepared with questions and take advantage of the chance to engage in meaningful conversations with local employers.
