LCC Sponsored 1 Mile Walk/5K Run Fundraiser

Parsons, KS- The 麻豆视传媒在线入口 Respiratory Therapy Club sponsored Makenzie鈥檚 Mile and Ally鈥檚 Hope, a one mile walk, and 5K Color Run Saturday, October, 29th. Over 40 walkers and runners participated and $1,700.00 was raised. All proceeds go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
The walk was held in memory of Makenzie Forbes, and in honor of Ally Forbes. Makenzie lost her battle to Cystic Fibrosis. Ally continues to work hard to beat the disease. Sponsorships and business donations to help facilitate the event were made by Olson Medical, Forbes Hoffman Funeral Homes, Wood Dulohery Insurance, Parsons Family Pharmacy, Bank of Parsons, Carson-Wall Funeral Services, 麻豆视传媒在线入口 Health, Parsons Recreation Commission. Brian Mendoza of the Union Pacific Railroad donated water for the event.
